Save the last video frame for a continuation shot
A video consists of discrete frames, so the requested time is matched to a decoded frame rather than a new interpolated picture. First-frame and last-frame buttons help prepare references without scrubbing to an approximate point. The returned timestamp identifies the frame you saved.
A 24 fps clip requested at 1.01 seconds may return the frame starting at 1.0000 seconds.

Can I extract the last frame of an MP4?
Yes. Choose Last frame to decode the final available video frame. Download the PNG and attach it to the first-frame input of your next AI video.
Is the export a screenshot of the video player?
No. It is decoded from the video track, without player controls or page decorations. Rotation is applied, display proportions are kept, and output is capped at a 3840 px longest edge.
Do my files get uploaded?
Your chosen files and entered text are processed in this browser. They are not uploaded to Montagea. Signing in verifies your account. AI tools download models; image-to-prompt downloads its pinned model files from Hugging Face.
