Swap a selected face with a local photo effect
Add the destination photo and a second portrait. AI finds facial landmarks, then a mesh aligns the source face to the selected destination. Broad color matching and a softened oval edge help the face blend into the scene. Hair, clothing and the rest of the destination photo remain outside the selected face area.

Can I choose a face in a group photo?
Yes. Up to five detected faces per photo are numbered. Choose one in each photo; only the selected target is replaced. Very small or obscured faces may not be detected.
Is this a generative face-swap model?
No. AI detects landmarks; the replacement uses the source photo’s pixels, geometric warping and local blending. Similar angles and lighting work best. It does not reconstruct hidden facial details or process video.
Do my files get uploaded?
Your chosen files and entered text are processed in this browser. They are not uploaded to Montagea. Signing in verifies your account. AI tools download models; image-to-prompt downloads its pinned model files from Hugging Face.
